Frank Gardner's Trans Am Mustang and Chevrolet Corvair Sports Sedan - AVAILABLE FOR SALE

Frank won the 1977 Sports Sedan Championship in the Chevrolet Corvair. The 1969 302 Boss Mustang was purposely built by Kar Kraft to win the 1969 Trans Am Series in America. Frank purchased the car to race in the 1970 BTCC in England. The car had to be modified to 1970 specifications as per the BTCC rules. After a competitive season, Frank finished second after being let down by a bad batch of tyres. Replicas of these limited edition cars are now available for purchase. On the weekend of 18th-19th September 1999, The Historic Sports and Racing Car Association of NSW conducted a tribute race meeting to commemorate Frank's racing career. Prior to that, at a special Club dinner, Frank delivered one of his classic "discourses" before receiving a presentation from the Club. The occasion was captured on video by Marc Schagen and is NOW available for purchase.
