Frank always used to say that there was no such thing as
bad cars, bad roads or bad conditions – only bad drivers who do not
understand how to cope with existing conditions.
In 1980, in an effort to provide ordinary drivers with
common sense driving tips and information or specific driving
techniques, he authored “Drive to Survive”. In May 1984, in an
effort to address an ever increasing New South Wales road toll, he
partnered with the Sydney Daily Telegraph to present a series of
driving hints. Drive to Survive will soon be available for purchase
on this site should any visitor not already have a copy, but the
following provides a link to a sample of the top tips Frank
authored and which he believed would aid all of us in becoming
better drivers.
